About me:
I am… mad, like all the best artists. I’m a fly-by-night painter – I paint at night, and it feels like flying. I have a BSc in Marine Biology (it feels odd… it’s all new). I paint like blazes when inspired and get grouchy when I can’t paint. I procrastinate like the devil, and have never managed to finish a painting with it looking the way it was meant to be at the start.

Why do I draw?
I started painting because I’ve always drawn, I’ve always had too many ideas and wanted to capture sweeps of line and curves of colour – and because I see things, and they give me ideas. And of course, I see other people’s work and I wonder ‘how did they do it?’ ‘Could I do it?’ And this becomes – ‘I know how they did that!’ and ‘Maybe if I try this…’ and finally ‘I can do that, I can do BETTER than that’. So of course, I have to prove it ^_

I’ve been seriously painting since mid-2007, but I’ve drawn and painted all my life. I just wasn’t much good at it.

I mostly paint with ArtRage because it combines painting with computers. I experiment, and I keep trying to learn from everything I draw.

I’m on Deviantart and RedBubble and keep making myself busier and busier…
